The AV Club's Undercover series invites musicians to play covers from a list of songs they have compiled. Some of the webcast's recent artist covers include Wild Cub performing Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love" and Charli XCX singing the Backstreet Boys' "I Want It That Way."
This week, indie rock band Real Estate stopped by and performed The Cranberries' "Linger." The band's rendition of the '90s hit is very faithful to the original song, the only thing missing is Dolores O'Riordan's haunting vocals. The band slows the pace and adds a reverb-heavy tone to the melancholy track.
Real Estate is currently on tour promoting their third studio album, Atlas, which was released earlier this year. You can stream Atlas right here on Zumic. You can also purchase the album on iTunes, Amazon, and their official website.
