With much of 2020 concert tours halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems like fans might get a chance to enjoy live performances this summer after all.
This week, concert tour promoter Live Nation announced Live from the Drive-In, a series of drive-in performances featuring some of music's biggest acts. Nine shows are scheduled to take place from July 10 to 12 at large-scale venues in Tennessee, Missouri, and Indiana. Performing will be Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi, Yacht Rock Revue, Nelly, and El Monstero.
Fans will be able to experience these concerts from the comfort and safety of their vehicles with social distancing protocols set in place. More information about other measures being taken can be found on Live Nation's website.

When do Live from the Drive-In 2020 tickets go on sale and what is the presale code?
The general public on-sale begins as early as June 26. Artist and Citi cardmember presales begin on June 23. Live Nation, LN Mobile App, and local venue / radio presales will follow.
For the Citi cardmember presale, you can try the passcode 412800, but you will need the card to complete your purchase. The Live Nation presale password is DRIVEIN. Click through the individual concert links for more information about the show you're interested in.
We recommend following the artists on social media, in addition to checking your local venue’s social media and email subscription service, to get the most up-to-date information. Keep in mind, each date is different and details are subject to change.
Tom See, president of Live Nation Venues-US Concerts, shared a comment with AP about the events:
We’re really dialed in with partnerships with (the) local jurisdictions (and) we’ve been meeting with them for months, just talking about how we can provide a great, comfortable experience to fans with social distancing at the forefront in whatever phase they’re about to enter. Because of those relationships and that communication going back and forth, we’ve been successful in getting that green light.
