Today, B.o.B released "Not For Long" featuring R&B singer Trey Songz. This will be the first single from his upcoming fourth album. The title of the album has not been released yet.
The singles from his last album contained a modern, southern trap sound, but it seems that B.o.B has returned to his original pop-influenced style. In this peppy, upbeat song, B.o.B says he is unconcerned with the woman he favors dating another man. "You will be mine / Even if you're somebody else's / Girl not for long," Trey sings in the hook. "Not For Long" has the mainstream appeal to transcend the genre of hip hop.
