Ellie Goulding recently covered The Waterboys' 1990 single, "How Long Will I Love You," for the upcoming romantic comedy, About Time. Her delicate, piano and strings rendition now has an accompanying music video, showing Goulding interspersed with scenes from the film. As Goulding stares out to the sea and walks along the beach, the couple from the film advance in their own relationship, walking on their own beach and eventually raising a baby. It's a simple, sweet video for a tender love song.
About Time was directed by Richard Curtis and stars Domhnall Gleeson alongside Rachel McAdams. The movie is already in theaters in the UK, and will be available in the US on November 1st along with a soundtrack album. In addition to "How Long Will I Love You," the soundtrack features music from artists such as Ben Folds, Amy Winehouse, and The Killers.
Goulding's cover of "How Long Will I Love You" also appears on her latest album, Halcyon Days. You can buy it on iTunes now.
