"Love Don't Live Here No More" - Ghostface Killah ft Kandace Springs [SoundCloud Audio Stream]

Ghostface has just announced he's releasing a solo album called 36 Seasons on December 9, 2014, which is just a week after the upcoming Wu-Tang album, A Better Tomorrow, will be released. Listen to the 36 Seasons lead single, "Love Don't Live Here No More," featuring soul singer Kandace Springs on SoundCloud above.

The song is soulful, showing a more vulnerable side to Ghostface than we're used to. It is particularly interesting that Ghostface is pushing the Tony Stark / Iron Man persona, just a week after he lost a major copyright lawsuit over the use of a sample from the "Iron Man Theme" that had been kicking around for 3 years. Copyright issues are probably why he's got to use "Starks" instead of "Stark."

Pitchfork reports that "the packaging will feature 20 pages of images from comic artists. The packaging was produced by Matthew Rosenberg, creator of Ghostface's Twelve Reasons to Die comic." See the movie style poster below, for a preview of what the comic will look like.

Ghostface Killah is a busy man. In addition to this solo record and the Wu-Tang record, he's also got an album collaboration with BadBadNotGood called Sour Soul due out on February 17, 2015.

36 Seasons will be out on Tommy Boy Records. Pre-order at getondown.com on vinyl, CD, or a deluxe bundle.
