Yesterday, the "Queen of Hip Hop Soul" released the touching track "Not Loving You" from her upcoming album, The London Sessions. The soul singer's 13th album is set to be released on December 2nd, but it will be out in the UK on November 24th.
Of course, we expect Mary to bare her soul on every song she records -- it's what she does best. "Not Loving You" features Mary's strong vocals going toe-to-toe with the soulful, piano-driven beat. As her soul seeps through every note, she sings about a relationship broken due to the lack of love her partner has for himself. She sings, "So what you gonna do now? / Now that you're falling, you're falling down / There's only so much I can do if you're not loving you." I'm sure all you Mary fans hate when she is experiencing personal issues, but let's be honest, this is when she creates her best music.
