Fueled with horns and a relaxed, soulful groove, Sharon Jones gives an inspired performance. Her two backup singers, Saundra Williams and Starr Duncan (the Dapettes) add flavorful harmonies while Sharon digs into her soul. Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra fill in for Jones' usual backing band, The Dap-Kings, providing a soulful groove under her wonderful singing.
