LA punks FIDLAR and the fabulous Nick Offerman have teamed up once again to bring us this display of über-manly badassery. During "A Manly Day In The Life Of Nick Offerman," we see some street canoeing, a touch of Robin Hood-esque crime fighting, a bit of spontaneous taco creation, and not a small amount of solar whiskey hurling.
The soundtrack for the video features FIDLAR's "The Punks Are Finally Taking Acid," a track released last year. The band previously collaborated with Offerman in their video for "Cocaine." Watch it right here, but be warned: It is extraordinarily NSFW.
The day in the life video was made to promote Offerman's new book Paddle Your Own Canoe: One Man's Fundamentals for Delicious Living. The book's description says:
A mix of amusing anecdotes, opinionated lessons and rants, sprinkled with offbeat gaiety, Paddle Your Own Canoe will not only tickle readers pink but may also rouse them to put down their smart phones, study a few sycamore leaves, and maybe even hand craft (and paddle) their own canoes.
Paddle Your Own Canoe comes out October 1st and is available for pre-order through Amazon.
