Indie band Superchunk have released their new single, "Me & You & Jackie Mittoo", which is featured on their upcoming album, I Hate Music. The tenth studio album will be released on Aug. 20, 2013.
The record's title came from the single's opening line - "I hate music—what is it worth? / Can't bring anyone back to this earth". I'm guessing that, in fact, the album isn't about hating music, but actually loving it. Shocker.
