The Movielife have shared the first single from their upcoming album, Cities In Search Of A Heart. Listen to "Mercy Is Asleep At The Wheel" above, courtesy of the band's YouTube. It's a mid-tempo ballad with distorted guitars and anthemic vocals.
In an interview with Rock Sound, frontman Vinnie Caruana shared some insight about the track:
Compassion, mercy and righteousness are desperately needed in order to wash out the darkness. It's tearing us apart. Mercy done lost her mind, is driving us straight into the sun, and all we can do is hold on tight and fight for love and the human spirit.
