The dynamic duo of Skrillex and Boys Noize are back at it again, releasing new music under their Dog Blood alias. The two renowned DJ's have taken their incredible knowledge of a wide variety of genres and smashed them all together here to create an EP that is acid house meets dub meets glitch meets underground 90's rave.
"Shred or Die" draws heavily on Sonny Moore's (Skrillex) metal background, while the title track is a reworking of an original version they did a while back. The new version takes the song up a step, and really highlights Boys Noize signature glitchy, break beat style. "Chella Ride" is the best example of the two artists combined efforts and distinct styles. There is also a remix of the title track by OWSLA's (Skrillex record label) very own, The M Machine, and British group Millions Like Us.
These guys have been killing it lately. From epic live shows (check out their monumental 2013 Coachella set HERE) to new releases, there is really no stopping either of these artists right now. Nest, Skrillex's new subscription based music service via OWSLA, has even been making some strides lately.
They were nice enough to assume a leak was coming, and just tossed it up on Soundcloud for us to hear. No word on the actual release yet, but the full EP stream should hold you over until we have more info.
