"Moby Gratis" - Moby Grants Free Use of His Music for Independent Film Makers

For indie filmmakers and nonprofits who would like to use quality music without having to break into their nonexistent music funds, Moby has a heart for you. Yesterday, Moby introduced changes to his website MobyGratis.com via video that make it more user friendly; its catalogue has also grown so there is a variety and just plain more of his great music to use! Already available the past four or five years, Moby Gratis is a website featuring a database of music from his studio recorded albums as well as other independent tracks. Both of his last records, Wait For Me and Destroyed, are available in their entirety.

If your independent film does go commercial, the money you will then have to pay will go directly to the Humane Society; so, Moby still receives nothing. We all still feel really good about MobyGratis.com
