Gov't Mule have released a live video clip of them performing Pink Floyd's classic track "Money." The video is part of a live release titled Dark Side of the Mule, which features a full concert of Pink Floyd covers recorded during the band’s 2008 Halloween show at the Orpheum Theater in Boston.

Warren Haynes and The Mule stay true to the original, but still perform the classic cut like it's their own song. It starts out with the iconic cash register intro and moves into a faithful rendition of Roger Waters' famous 7/4 time signature verses. Saxophonist Ron Holloway brings his jazz influence to deliver a perfect solo. The always impressive Warren Haynes follows with an guitar solo, ripping away on his Telecaster. With one last verse, the music slowly fades out.

Gov't Mule are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year and plan to release four new archival concert recordings, Dark Side of the Mule being one of them. Get more details at Gov't Mule's official website.

Also, in case you missed it, Pink Floyd released a new album this year. The Endless River is available to stream right here on Zumic.

Dark Side of the Mule is available for pre-order on Amazon (3-CD / DVD set, CD, Vinyl) or Gov't Mule's official webstore (3-CD / DVD set, CD, Vinyl)
