Watch Animal Collective's new video for their single "Monkey Riches". It's a mind-tripping quest for knowledge that a young couple seeks initially with the help of a bedridden and cooky wise man. Their relationship doesn't get off to the best start, so the young man sets out to the well in the garden to find truth. Though the playful wise man may have a naughty prankster side the couple tries to escape, the search for truth without him is dire. As director Jack Kubizne discloses to Vice: " possesses some kind of knowledge or teaching he would readily hand down if only we could see it right in front of us. Whether we are able to receive that knowledge is something I think a lot of people struggle with nowadays."
