German electronic artist Roosevelt has released a video for his latest single, "Montreal," off of his debut EP Elliot. The song is a lush dance tune, with a constant grooving bass line and washed out disco synthesizers. The grainy video, looking like it was shot with an old film camera, is steeped in the same levels of seventies nostalgia. The pastel-colored backgrounds and cheap visual fade effects hearken back to the glory days of psychedelic rock, complimenting the vintage feel of "Montreal's" laid-back sound.
