The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has added even more legends to an already impressive list of performers for the 2013 Induction Ceremony. Alice in Chains' Jerry Cantrell, John Fogerty, Pearl Jam's Mike McCready, Harry Belafonte, Carole King, Usher, Spike Lee, Cheech & Chong, Jackson Browne and Soundgarden's Chris Cornell, will be joining the talent originally booked for the 28th annual ceremony on April 18th at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.
Rush and Heart, both originally from Canada, are among the Class of 2013 Performers along with Randy Newman, Public Enemy, Donna Summer, and Albert King. Lou Adler and Quincy Jones, known for their extensive work across the industry, will both individually receive this year's The Lifetime Achievement Award.
Since 1986, the R&R Hall of Fame has inducted bands and individuals in honor of their contributions to popular music.
Tickets for the public are sold out, although VIP packages are still available for a hefty price. It will also be broadcast on HBO.
