The Black Keys have released the official music video for "Weight Of Love" - the opening track to their 2014 album, Turn Blue. Watch above, via director Theo Wenner's Vimeo account.
Wenner, the 26-year-old son of Rolling Stone magnate Jann Wenner, also directed the first music video from the album, "Fever," and we can see references to that here. Supermodel Lara Stone stars in the video, and there is quite a bit of nudity as the women of the video show more than a little nipple. In essence, a group of females live in some kind of convent where they do cult-like activities and find entertainment and spiritual enrichment through Dan Auerbach as some type of evangelist.
Musically, Danger Mouse's production sounds airy and beautiful. The initial melody on acoustic guitar and bells sounds a lot like another song from the album, "Bullet In The Brain." Dan Auerbach's guitar flutters like a flame in the wind. It's got a slow build-up, and clocks in at over 7 minutes, but it's a fun ride.
The band is embarking on a massive North American tour beginning September 5th. For dates and tickets, click "Tour Dates" below the video. For The Black Keys' latest music and news, check out their Zumic artist page.
