Earlier today, Alicia Keys released a music video for her unreleased single "We Are Here" on Facebook. In the track, Keys brings attention to many of this issues we are facing in the world today and how something needs to be done. She sings about everything from the turmoil in Israel to the issue of education in the United States.

The video features Keys playing piano on a New York City rooftop with the skyline flickering behind her. The singer-songwriter nods her head passionately to the music, rocking her iconic braids and a red hoodie. Keys' voice sounds beautiful in the soulful ballad, but that should surprise no one.

Along with her new music video, Keys included a message for all her fans in which she says:

As I prepare to give birth to a new child, I can't help and think about the world I'm bringing my baby into. No matter where we come from, when we see the state of the world today, we can all feel the growing frustration and desire to make a difference. And we all have a voice - we just need to know how to make it heard.

The Grammy-winning musician has also revealed that she will be releasing another album soon. Keys told Billboard that, "What I know for a fact is it's the best music I've ever done in my life yet and it's really exciting to be able to have this kind of growth, this type of opportunity...The music's actually pretty much done already and so you'll be hearing some of it soon." Although Keys has not yet shared release date or title for the upcoming record, it is known that Keys has been working with producer Pharrell.

Alicia Keys will be performing her new single tonight on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, so make sure to tune in to catch her first live performance of "We Are Here."
