Canadian punks Death From Above 1979 rocked the Letterman stage last night with "Trainwreck 1979," a song from their new album, The Physical World. You can watch the performance above.
Drummer Sebastien Grainger leads the song with aggressive singing and steady drumming, as bassist Jesse Keeler's bottom heavy-bass fuels the pace. Elements of dance rock are cleverly mixed in the sound. It was an explosive performance as David Letterman was impressed while thanking the duo.
