Cloud Nothings get inside their own heads with the new video for "Now Hear In." Watch above.
Directed by Toro Y Moi guitarist Jordan Blackmon, the video mainly follows Toro Y Moi bassist Patrick Jeffords wearing a suit and donning a giant freak head, as he travels around the LA area. Blackmon stated in a press release that the video is meant to have "a loose cyclical theme of identity and ego-birth/death." The song's upbeat tempo and thundering drums fittingly soundtrack a combination of quick shots, static, and discoloration.
The Cleveland-based band are currently on tour in support of their fourth album, Here and Nowhere Else. Back in August they stopped at KEXP to perform a four-song set. Watch it here on Zumic.
"Now Hear In" is featured on Here and Nowhere Else, out now via Carpack / Mom + Pop. Get it now on Amazon. For more band info and tour dates, check out their Zumic artist page.
