Yesterday, Chicago rapper Lil Herb, aka G-Herbo, released the video for the remix of his song "Fight of Flight" featuring fellow Chi-town rappers Common and Chance The Rapper. The original song is featured on his debut mixtape, Welcome To Fazoland.

It's no secret that Chicago is an unfriendly city. As of October 12th, the 2014 death toll from murders stands at an astounding 319. Herb speaks about the hardships he faced and the stress of growing up in Chicago. He raps, "I'm from where mothers don't care and babies get killed / Where you gotta rob and go steal for stomachs to fill." The video features various news clips depicting the violence and social unrest in the streets of the Windy City. With Common and Chance being Chicago-bred as well, they too shared their experiences and opinions on the city's upheaval.
