Today, pop princess Ariana Granda released the video to her single "Love Me Harder." The song was released on September 30th and features R&B singer and OVO artist The Weeknd. It serves as the third single to her second album, My Everything, released in August of this year.
The former Nickelodeon star appears to be shedding her child-like image with her racy lyrics. In the first verse, she sings, "If you just let me invade your space / I'll take the pleasure, take it with the pain / And if in the moment I bite my lip / Baby, in the moment, you'll know this is." The 21-year-old is demanding more from her partner on the physical side. "Love Me Harder" falls into the synthpop genre with its 1980s electronic sound. The video features Ariana singing in a rundown, castle-like building, with her duet partner in a darker, grittier, dungeon-like surrounding.
