Los Angeles rapper and Odd Future member Earl Sweatshirt dropped a surprise new song last night. It's called "45” and you can listen to it above.

The track lasts barely over a minute and the beat is stark, with different strings and horns interlocking throughout. Earl's verses sound harsh and angry. His voice has a new, deep timbre to it, and he's rapping like he has something to prove. This is made evident as he says, "They keep an eye on me, I am not a child artist / I raise the bar and hit a chin-up for a while on it."

Earl Sweatshirt's debut LP, Doris, was released last year. You can stream it right here on Zumic. The record is currently available on Amazon (CD, MP3) and iTunes
