Miami's Torche have shared a new song titled "Annihilation Affair," from their forthcoming album Restarter, out February 24th. The new record follows 2012's Harmonicraft, and will be the band's first release since signing with Relapse Records. Listen to the new track above.

Torche bassist and Restarter's producer Jonathan Nuñez spoke with Loudwire about the new album: "I’m happy with the last record, but I feel on this record, it’s just more solid song to song. You’ve got to move forward. You can’t release the same record over and over."

"Annihilation Affair" gets right down to it with heavy, angular guitar riffs, and frontman Steve Brooks' contrasting melodic vocals. In addition to Nuñez's production, Restarter was mixed by Converge's Kurt Ballou, whose production credits include Trap Them, Iron Reagan, and Baptists, just to name a few. After hearing this and their previously released track, "Minions," the new album is sounding like it's going to be monstrous.

You can pre-order Restarter now on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3) or iTunes.
