Action Bronson & Mark Ronson - The Making Of Baby Blue
Action Bronson has been steadily leaking tracks off the upcoming Mr. Wonderful album, due out March 24th, 2015. First there was "Easy Rider," then there was "Actin' Crazy," then "Terry," now "Baby Blue." Hopefully he keeps the rest of the 13-track album a surprise for those of us awaiting the release date!
Led by a piano-driven beat, Action Bronson talks about a relationship gone awry while Chance lays down the hook and a very memorable verse towards the end. "I hope there's always snow in your driveway. I hope you never get off Fridays, and you work at a Friday's that's always busy on Fridays," the Chicago rapper wishes on an ex-lover in a humorous way. The multitalented Mark Ronson offered up a very soulful beat that proves perfect for the MCs' flows.
The music video is on par with the usual hilarity that Bronson delivers. Spoofing the classic 1988 film Coming to America, Bronson and his partner in crime Big Body Bes can be seen playing music at Albanian Awareness Week and working at the restaurant McBronson's. It's more of that cartoon-like persona we've grown to love in Action Bronson. Also be sure to check out the behind-the-scenes video with Ronson that Bronson shared on his YouTube account.
Mr. Wonderful is available for order on Amazon (CD, MP3). You can also stream the album in full and read our review right here on Zumic.
