Death Cab for Cutie have shared an official music video for their song, "The Ghosts of Beverly Drive." The track is from the band's 2015 release, Kintsugi. Watch it above via the band's YouTube.

Directed by Robert Hales, the video finds frontman Ben Gibbard in charge of a celebrity bus tour that drives around Los Angeles to give tourists a glimpse of houses and buildings. Other band members make an appearance in the video as well, as bassist Nick Harmer is the bus driver and drummer Jason McGerr is seen taking customers' tickets. The video gives a sense of what these tours are about, yet the band is able to convey a feeling of detachment between us and the city.

The song brings a hyper, dance-floor vibe with repeated guitar riffs and electronic beats. Ben Gibbard's vocals are strong and confident, matching his inward-looking lyrics. There's a warm, new wave feel to the tune but it sounds fresh. It's another solid track from an album that fans have been patiently waiting for.

Kintsugi is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, Cassette, MP3). You can also stream it and read our review of the album here on Zumic.
