French Montana gets pretty dark on this new track from his forthcoming release Excuse My French and enlists the perfect guest on the track, The Weeknd, who seems to be determined to become the king of dark party ballads. The breathless falsetto and lyrics crafted by drugs and lonliness combine with the murky and ominous backing music make this sound like this is a song on a record by The Weekend featuring French Montana, but in the end Montana matches him step for step on the dark side, barking out rhymes that match the conclusion of the song's growing intensity.
