The M-E-T-H-O-D Man returns with his first solo album in 9 years titled The Meth Lab. The lead single of the same name features fellow Staten Island natives and Wu-Tang Clan affiliates Hanz On and Streetlife. The release date is set to be August 21st.
Method Man's last solo single was "Say." The Lauryn Hill-featured track appeared on his 2006 album 4:21 ...The Day After. He's been active since, putting out records with Redman and his Wu-Tang brethren, but now it's time for Tical to bless us with his long-awaited solo album. Yesterday, he released a Breaking Bad-themed animated trailer for the upcoming project.
"The Meth Lab" features Method, Hans, and Streetlife trading verses about cheffing up the best product for their customers for an eerie, piano driven beat. Are they talking about drugs or music? We'll let you be the judge. The video shows the three Wu-Tang rappers dressed in hazmat suits, concocting substances much like the hit TV show Breaking Bad while women in bikinis move the product.
