Rita Ora "Poison" Music Video Behind-The-Scenes
From British pop star Rita Ora's anticipated sophomore studio album comes "Poison," a catchy song suggesting a love story tainted with envy and betrayal. Media gossip highly speculates the track is about the singer's past relationship with Calvin Harris who, ironically, was featured on Ora's 2014 single, "I Will Never Let You Down."
This music video portrays a story of the artist being scouted for modeling and getting a sweet taste of the glitzy party life that comes with it. With scandalous outfits and scenes of sensual interactions involving co-models and a certain photographer that takes a specific liking to her, the video amplifies different relationship dynamics and love triangles. Things soon turn sour when her hometown male friend re-enters the picture igniting a series of jealousy and lying.
When asked about her new song the pop star is quoted saying, “Poison was a long time coming for me being a 24-year-old girl and it’s about how I envision love and a time in my life when it was poisonous,” according to Daily Star.
