Hard rockers Refused have shared another taste of what to expect on their upcoming album, Freedom. Above, you can watch the music video for the hard hitting track "Dawkins Christ."

Refused gave an explanation of the song's title, lyrics, and music on their Facebook page:

The title refers to the famous biologist whose atheist theology has inspired a semi-cult who in turn sees him as a messianic figure, an irony that partly inspired the lyrics. The music draws from the film scores of Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone as well as pre Reign in Blood Slayer.

Grainy images of water crashing, volcanic eruptions, and a person jumping from a cliff are some of the images shown while the thunderous track plays. Classic paintings showing death and warfare flash by as well, giving the video a slight eerie feeling. While there is no specific storyline, the video is sure to grab your attention.

Listen to the previously shared "Françafrique" and "Elektra" here on Zumic.

Freedom will be released on June 30th via Epitaph Records. Pick it up on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
