British band Foals have teamed up with GoPro and director Nabil Elderkin to share a new, interactive music video to accompany their track "Mountain At My Gates." The song is set to be the second track on their upcoming fourth studio album, What Went Down. Watch it below via the band's YouTube, as well as GoPro behind the scenes footage.

Note: The music video currently requires Google Chrome or the YouTube App on Mobile. If your Chrome browser is not up to date, the video may not allow for the interactive experience.

The video is an awesome ocular experience. Shot using GoPro’s spherical, virtual reality technology, the viewer floats toward a city before being thrust into a maneuverable environment. Arrows on the screen and the AWSD keys allow the viewer to rotate in any direction within the snow globe-style atmosphere.

The videos are new examples of musicians riding the cutting edge of interactivity. Bob Dylan's 2013 video of "Like a Rolling Stone" and Jack White's "That Black Bat Licorice" from earlier this year are other examples of artists' testing the interactive media.

Previously Foals shared the album's title track with an accompanying music video, "What Went Down."

Pick up What Went Down on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
