Recently, Black Keys frontman Dan Auerbach stopped by KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic in Los Angeles with his new side project, The Arcs, to perform a few songs from their upcoming debut album, Yours, Dreamily. Watch the full video above.

Beginning with "Outta My Mind," The Arcs hit you with a heavy dose of vintage sounding rock 'n roll that sounds raw, yet fresh. Following up with "Stay In My Corner," you realize that the band can't be pigeonholed into one specific genre as they flex their R&B muscles and combine a soulful groove filled out with echoed falsetto vocals.

They end the session with "Put a Flower in Your Pocket," which contains a sultry rhythm that gels perfectly with Auerbach's smooth vocal delivery.

With just these three songs as a sample, you get a sense that this band can delve into any style of rock or soul, and sound authentic. The Arcs are a band of seasoned professionals, and it will be exciting to hear what new material the band has for us.

Previously, the band has shared studio versions of "Outta My Mind," "Stay In My Corner" and "Put a Flower in Your Pocket."

Yours, Dreamily, will be released on September 4, 2015. Get it on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3).
