Yesterday, folk rockers Dawes shared a special music video for their song, "All Your Favorite Bands." Watch it above via the band's YouTube.
Frontman Taylor Goldsmith shared the band's feelings about the video in a press release:
This is really a video made by our friends... All we told everyone is that we wanted some footage of them singing our song. All of their different settings and situations were completely their ideas. We had no idea what to expect. But we really love how it came together and for us, it really seems to suggest the musical family we feel lucky enough to have been a part of over the last six years.
It's a touching video tribute with appearances from Conor Oberst, Brandon Flowers, My Morning Jacket, Gillian Welch, Deer Tick's John McCauley, and more. At the end of the video, we see Taylor on acoustic guitar while the McKinley Elementary School children's choir from Davenport, Iowa sings the tune's final chorus.
As a bonus treat, the band has asked that fans help them create an "All Your Favorite Bands" Spotify playlist on their website, as well as an opportunity to be in Dawes' next music video.
"All Your Favorite Bands" is the title track from Dawes 2015 release, and is available on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3). You can also stream the full album for free and read our review here on Zumic.
