Saturday's 2015 Global Citizen Festival in New York saw many special artists come together to perform songs and help raise awareness for global poverty. One of those special moments came during Pearl Jam's headlining set, when Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder invited Beyoncé to come onstage to help sing a touching cover of Bob Marley's "Redemption Song." Watch it above.

Vedder performs the song brilliantly on acoustic guitar as he and Beyoncé trade vocals. Halfway through, a video of former South African president Nelson Mandela giving a speech about humanity overcoming extreme poverty was shown to the audience as Eddie Vedder strummed the guitar and Beyoncé harmonized underneath. It was clearly a special moment for the two performers, and the audience loved it. Also interesting to note is that the last time Pearl Jam performed "Redemption Song" live was reportedly back in 1995.
