Swamp-rock legend John Fogerty was on Howard Stern's SiriusXM program this week to perform and chat about his storied career. Check below for a video of the CCR classic "Have You Ever Seen The Rain?" and a clip talking about Fogerty's songwriting journal from the '60s:

Just this week, Fogerty also announced a 2016 Las Vegas residency and he released his memoir, Fortunate Son: My Life, My Music.

Now over 70 years old, the Creedence Clearwater Revival songwriter revived this classic 1970 single for an acoustic performance. His voice has aged well, still carrying much of the same country tenor that came with the original CCR performance but sung with more age and experience.

This isn't the first time John Fogerty had performed in front of the master shock jock. Last year, he performed "Bad Moon Risin'" at Howard Stern's 2014 Birthday Bash.

Fogerty recalls, "'I came home', I said 'I've got to get more organized,'" as he picks up his songwriting journal from his old Creedence days. He opens to the first page and shows Howard. It reads "Song Titles." On the next page, the first song title he wrote down was the now-iconic "Proud Mary." Other titles on the page that later became songs include "Sinister Purpose" and "Bad Moon Risin'."

Along with the interviews, Howard Stern posted a new music video for John Fogerty's 1985 Baseball classic, "Centerfield" starring the show's producer, Gary Dell'Abate (better known as Baba Booey).
