This month, PBS will air Eric Clapton: Live at the Royal Albert – Slowhand at 70, which features footage from Clapton’s concerts at London’s Royal Albert Hall recorded in May of this year. Above, you can watch the guitar legend perform an acoustic version of his hit song "Layla."

The acoustic version of "Layla" was one of the highlights during Clapton's MTV Unplugged episode, and actually won the 1993 Grammy Award for Best Rock Song — beating "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana and "Jeremy" by Pearl Jam. The song was first released as a much different electric version on Derek and the Dominos' Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs album in 1970, featuring Duane Allman on guitar.

Clapton begins this performance with a brief jam before transitioning into the song's familiar notes. The vocal delivery is graceful, and a nice keyboard and organ solo leads into Eric showcasing his acoustic skills. There's also some beautiful shots of the iconic venue.

Previously, Clapton shared a performance video of "Cocaine" that will be included in the film.

You can pick up Eric Clapton: Live at the Royal Albert – Slowhand at 70 on Amazon (2 CD/2 DVD, 2 CD/Blu-Ray, 3 LP/DVD, Deluxe Blu-Ray. It's set for a November 13, 2015 release.
