Hard rockers Disturbed have shared an official music video for their cover of Simon & Garfunkel's 1964 song, "The Sound Of Silence." Watch it above, via Disturbed's YouTube.

Directed by Matt Mahurin, the black-and-white video sees singer David Draiman singing the lush, orchestral number. A silence has come over the land until musicians unearth instruments and discover a colony of people writing sheet music. It's an interesting storyline that could have used a bit more expanding.

"The Sound Of Silence" is the eleventh track from Disturbed's 2015 album Immortalized. This is a lot different than the first music video Disturbed released from the album. Check out "The Vengeful One" here on Zumic.

Pick up Immortalized on Amazon (Vinyl, CD, MP3). You can also stream it for free and read our review here on Zumic.

The band will be touring behind Immortalized in 2016. For more information about that, as well as their latest music and news, check out their Zumic artist page.
