Pusha T sets himself apart from the crowd once again with his elusive visuals for "Crutches, Crosses, Casksets" off his latest album, King Push - Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude. The track was produced by Puff Daddy, Ke'noe, Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E., and Mario Winans.

As you can hear in the powerfully dark hook, "Crutches, crosses, caskets / All I see is victims," Pusha T is no stranger to the war zone that is the rap genre. 'T portrays himself as an unflappable, invincible commander in a lane of his own, rapping, "You can’t kill a God like the Romans." This single is dominating, compelling, and provokes thought on what rappers actually do with their power:

I’m Yasiel Puig, I’m in another league
I defected, only thing we have in common, niggas bleed
In ya thousand dollar joggers as you rhyme about ya dollars
Is there shame when a platinum rapper’s mother lives in squalor?

The video, directed by Kid Art, depicts King Push as an annihilator highlighted by a grim red glow in a series of shots on an eerie merry-go-round, surrounded by scandalously dressed nuns.

King Push - Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude is available on Amazon.
