One of the most lively and soulful jambands on the scene today, Tedeschi Trucks Band have shared the title track to their upcoming third studio album. Listen to the glorious "Let Me Get By" above.

Guitarist Derek Trucks spoke with GuitarWorld about the song's creation:

This song started with a single line that our keyboard player, Kofi Burbridge, played in soundcheck... Many of the songs on the album came about in a similar way; someone in the band brought an idea or a phrase, and the rest of the group contributed their own touches to fill in the blanks.

This one was also a natural fit as the title of the album. We’re fortunate to be a band that’s all pushing in the same direction, so when we go into the studio, it’s almost an extension of what we do on stage, and I think this track shows some of that cohesiveness that we’ve developed over the years.

"Let Me Get By" finds the band exploring their jazzy side, with funky keyboard playing, bright horns, and a skilled organ solo midway through. As usual, Susan Tedeschi's vocals are heartfelt, and Derek Trucks lends some killer slide guitar riffs.

Let Me Get By is set for a January 29, 2016 release via Concord / Fantasy Records. Pick it up on Amazon.

TTB will celebrate the album's release with a performance at the historic Apollo Theater in New York City on January 26, 2016.
