Weezer fans were treated to a big surprise last night. The band shared a music video for a brand new song, "King Of The World," which you can watch above, via Weezer's YouTube. They also announced a lengthy North American tour with Panic! At The Disco, and details about their next album — the White Album.

"King Of The World" contains all the characteristics that have made Weezer a staple in the indie scene for over 20 years. Upbeat rock guitar riffs, witty lyrics, and an anthemic, sing-along chorus help to make this a fun song.

Directed by SCANTRON, the video sees River Cuomo dressed as a king and running frantically on the boardwalk. You'll have to watch the clip to see the reason why.

Other songs from the upcoming LP Weezer have shared are "Thank God for Girls" and "Do You Wanna Get High?"

The White Album — not to be confused with The Beatles' White Album — follows Weezer's classic Blue (1994), Green (2001), and Red (2008) albums. (Apparently, they release a self-titled album of a different color every 7 or 8 years.) It's scheduled for an April 1, 2016 release. (The band says, "this is not a joke," referring to the April Fools release date.) Pick it up on Amazon.
