Iconic rapper Missy Elliott shared an enthusiastic new song, "Pep Rally." Listen above.
The track made its debut during the Super Bowl in a commercial for Amazon Echo, an interactive sound system controlled by voice commands. Missy is dancing with Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino at a Super Bowl party hosted by Alec Baldwin. After Baldwin announces that there's "over a hundred million people watching," Missy requests that Alexa release her new single. Nice play!
With riveting horns, catchy lyrics, and fierce drums, "Pep Rally" is an upbeat, encouraging tune. Along with the use of actual referee whistles in the chorus, the song is well suited for any sports gathering.
