Sorority Noise, indie band from Hartford, CT, shared their new song, "Either Way." Listen above.

The band's first full length, Forgettable, came out on May 13, 2014. Their second album, Joy, Departed, was released the following year and moved toward a softer, melodic sound.

A continuation of this progression, "Either Way" is a somber tune with wistful lyrics. The track features hazy, emotional vocals sung over a winding acoustic guitar accompanied by delicate piano and subtle bass. Vocalist Cameron Boucher spoke to DIY about the song's meaning:

I wrote this song in our van outside of Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA, I had found out I lost another friend a few days previous and was having a difficult time thinking about how I had made positive strides in dealing with my mental health, but hadn’t been able to help friends around me that I didn’t know we’re suffering from the same thing.

"Either Way" will be on Sorority Noise's upcoming EP, It Kindly Stopped For Me, scheduled to be released April 22, 2016. Pick it up on the band's official website.
