NYC punk band The So So Glos have shared a gory music video for "Missionary," a song from their 2016 album Kamikaze. Watch it above, courtesy of the band's YouTube.

"Missionary" exemplifies what makes The So So Glos leaders in the New York DIY punk scene, with a defiant, sing-along chorus, energized guitar riffs, and Levi Zaru's passionate vocal screams. Hints of a surf-rock vibe can be heard in the rhythm. It's an exciting song, and don't be surprised if you find yourself singing the lyrics, "Nothing's gonna stand in my way / Nothing's gonna bring me down."

The video, directed by Jesse Michaels from ska punk band Operation Ivy, features a man peddling a piece of literature titled Book of Holy Thought to strangers with a lot of weird stuff happening.

Kamikaze is currently available on Amazon. You can also stream the full album and read our review here on Zumic.

Other music videos the band has shared from Kamikaze include "Dancing Industry" and "A.D.D. Life."
