Southern band Mudcrutch (featuring Tom Petty and a couple other core members of The Heartbreakers) have shared the second single from their upcoming album. Listen to "Beautiful World" above, via YouTube.
"Beautiful World" is an upbeat rock tune with twangy guitars and a firm rhythm section that lends a groovy element. Unlike the band's first single, "Trailer," this number hits a more positive note lyrically with, "It's a beautiful world / So hold me tight / I've had to fight everyday of my life / It's a beautiful world."
The song will be featured on the band's upcoming album, 2, available on Amazon. It's set to be officially released on May 20, 2016.
