The sixth record by gypsy-punks Gogol Bordello is slated for release on July 23rd, but you can catch a short glimpse into the making of Pura Vida Conspiracy right now, including a taste of the new song "We Rise Again."
The band's time at Texas' Sonic Ranch is chronicled as the band members offer short insights into the content and production. Says singer and frontman Eugene Hutz: "This is big. This is earth bending. The melodies are big. The words are big. The hiatus is over, man."
Following the release of Pura Vida Conspiracy, the band will embark on a transcontinental tour, which is unsurprising considering the line from "We Rise Again": "Borders are scars on the face of the planet."
Tour dates and album info will be posted at Zumic as they become available.
