Editor's note: The song starts at the 1:17 mark of the video.

Philly pop punk quartet Modern Baseball shared a music video for their new song, "Wedding Singer," off their upcoming third studio album, Holy Ghost. Watch above.

Previously, we've heard two tracks off the new record, "Everyday" and "Apple Cider, I Don't Mind" in a double-release that premiered on NPR.

These songs are a lot more serious and emotional than their witty breakthrough 2014 LP, You're Gonna Miss It All. The music video, however, does show Modern Baseball's frivolous side in times of stress with roller blading, night clubs, and mannequins. The clip was directed and written by Kyle Thrash, who also did their documentary, "Tripping in the Dark" and the Holy Ghost Album Trailer.

"Wedding Singer" is a melodic pop punk jam with honest lyrics, a vigorous bass line, and energetic guitar riffs. There's a strange breakdown toward the end, which may just be in there to sync with the music video. We'll know for sure when the new album drops next week.

Holy Ghost is set to release May 13, 2016 on Run for Cover Records. Pick it up on Amazon.

Modern Baseball will be headlining The Holy Ghost Tour this summer with Joyce Manor and Thin Lips. For for their latest music, news, and tour dates, check out Modern Baseball's Zumic artist page.
