James Corden needs to get to The Late Late Show, but runs into some traffic on the way there. Instead of letting the frustration get to him, he invites none other than the Red Hot Chili Peppers to act as his guide, and they drive around Los Angeles in another hilarious installment of "Carpool Karaoke."

The band sing along with Corden to some of their greatest hits: "Can't Stop," "Give It Away," "Californication," "Under the Bridge," "The Zephyr Song," "By the Way," one of their most recent singles "Dark Necessities," and a short segment from the Broadway musical Oliver. Flea does a great job of replicating his bass part using his mouth and air bass skills, while Anthony Kiedis belts out his part with a voice that's as solid as ever.

Through the episode, the band tells Corden a variety of different tales, including the time Kiedis and Flea wrote a song called “Heemi Lheemey” (1:28), how Flea found his motivation for being a great bass player (6:45), and the time when Cher used to occasionally babysit Kiedis when he was younger (12:18). This wouldn't be a Red Hot Chili Peppers interview if no skin was shown, which Kiedis and Flea did with Corden by going shirtless (10:40).

Possibly the most exciting bit of the episode is when the band tells Corden about their wresting antics on tour, which leads to them pulling over to have a short wrestling match between Kiedis and Corden on a random person's lawn, which Kiedis ultimately won (4:55). The band did a great job of keeping the carpool entertaining, ending it with Kiedis laying a big kiss on Corden's cheek.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to release their new album The Getaway on June 17th. Pick it up on Amazon. So far, they've released the singles "Dark Necessities," "We Turn Red," and "The Getaway."
