It's been five years since punk rock band Sum 41 have released an album, but fans won't have to wait another year. The band has shared a new song and accompanying video for "Fake My Own Death," the first single from their upcoming album, 13 Voices. Watch the music video and a behind-the-scenes look below, courtesy of Hopeless Records' YouTube.

Singer Deryck Whibley said about the song in a press release that, "I just wanted to get away from everything that I had been doing. I needed to start a new life-like faking my own death."

Directed by Marc Klasfeld, we see the band performing the punk rock fueled song on a rooftop in Los Angeles. While doing so, animated representations of Kim Kardashian, Bill Cosby, Donald Trump, and many more make quick cameos. It's a fun video to watch with nearly every scene having an out-of-place character included.

13 Voices is scheduled to be released on October 7, 2016 through Hopeless Records. It's available on the band's web store.
