Death Grips have dropped a DIY music video for "Giving Bad People Good Ideas," the opening track of Bottomless Pit, their fifth studio album. The video, which was received with a slew of obvious YouTube comments about "shoegaze" and "shoestring budgets," features a single Dr. Martens oxford shoe being manically dissembled and ultimately transformed into a swinging pendulum suspended by its string.
Most fans of the noise-rap provocateurs should find this blurring, eerily lit video par for the course, having been treated in recent years to bizarre music videos showing a flashing image of a banana and pair of gold dentures resting in an electrical cord hammock and the band inexplicably cleaning a ton of foam pellets off the floor of a hotel room.
