Danish singer MØ has released a poppy new single called "Drum" — listen above on YouTube.
With an infectious chorus and a driving tropical house beat layered in the background, MØ beautifully sings about relationships where people simply grow apart as they live their lives and follow their hearts.
Co-written by Charli XCX, Noonie Bao (who assisted on MØ's previous single, "Final Song"), and Bloodpop, "Drum" finds MØ at her most comfortable. In a radio interview with BBC's Annie Mac (Starts at 3:06), she described the process of making "Drum" with the aforementioned artists, and the two discuss her unique place within the pop genre.
"Drum" is now available for streaming on Spotify. MØ is still currently putting the finishing touches on her, as-of-yet untitled follow-up to her debut album, No Mythologies to Follow.
